[/i][/font][/center]Many years ago it was found out that anyone who drank the water from the well in the mountains would become immortal. No one really knows how this was discovered, but legend has it that a group of settler came to the island and while they were exploring, they came across the sacred well. Different people have different versions of what happened next, but most people say that the settlers were thirsty so they drank from the well. Then, after a period of time they noticed that they were no longer regular humans. They could go days without food, water, or drink, could run extremely fast and had attained god-like strength. They also realized that they were naturally immuned to diseases and just never got older or died.
Word got out and soon everyone on the island had drunk from the well and were all immortal. People from all over the world heard about this phenomenon and came to experience it for themselves. After a while, the well dried up and the tourists went home and the people on caprina were forgotten.
Now, hundreds of years later, a new generation of people have come to the island. they, of course, don’t know what once went on on caprina. What will happen no that the new mortals have begun to mix in with the immortals?
